breakfast slushy

I had a half full bottle of Gatorade in the fridge and thought it would be wise to grab it for my morning commute. Sadly, it was mostly slush by the time I was 5 miles from home. It still tasted pretty good. Probably not as good as a hot chocolate would have been but still satisfying.

While riding I also thought about another way to enhance the Verge series. See below (#5).

Protip - put your bidon's in your jersey pockets when riding in the winter. not your jacket pockets, but in the rear pockets of an interior layer. Body heat/insulation will keep them from freezing. Drink one bidon while the other stays warm, when it slushes, swap them. Be sure to wipe them down before switching so you don't get ice/slush in your back, thats unPro. :P

definitely a process i follow for long winter rides. unfortunately my pockets were stuffed with commuting items like a lock, lunch, clean shirt, etc.
